Its a quick one this week as I’m running a bit behind!

On a quick note. Merica’ is bring manufacturing back stateside with two major industries leading the way:

Auto’s and Micro Chips

Pretty cool if ya ask me. Two bills that were passed during COVID helped spur the growth of both sectors. Those bills were the CHIPS and Science Act which put money towards semiconductor manufacturing capacity. The other was the Inflation Reduction Act which goes towards EV batteries.

Alright, that’s cool and all. How the hell ya’ll plan to run those plants?

They can’t. According to the Nation Association of manufacturers, they are currently short 800k workers.

Yep, not to mention all the manpower required to initially build em’.

Good news for us! The shorter hands there are, the more valuable we become and the more power we have when it comes to negotiating wages, benefits ,etc.

So drink one for us this week! (just make sure its not a bud light)
