Corporations. Ahh the sweet sound of hearing how much companies like Bud Light, Target, Miller Lite, and more have lost because of backing the wrong horse.

Its all me and the crew can talk about on breaks now-a-days. Its very “Power to the people” type of a vibe and I dig it. It pulls a little bit of control out of their hands and puts it in ours.

Politics is not the point. Who cares about that. The point is us. We are what matters.

Case and Point:

Reddit vs The People

This thing is awesome! If you’ve tried to get on reddit the past couple days you may have seen they had a black out goin on.

Here’s the simple terms of what’s going on.

Reddit has let people into its house through the backdoor for years now. Let people crash on their couch and even set up businesses in their backyard. After awhile, these businesses started making a shit ton of money and it all went bad when one day Reddit said “I’m gonna start charging rent”.

Totally fair right?

Well not if you charge $100k/mo for a jerk off coat closet!

One guy (Owner of Apollo app) gave them a call and recorded it. Basically just said this is F*** up and will put lots of biz owners out of business. Reddit came out and said “This dude tried to extort us!”

Then he decided, Let the people decide, and released the recording. He came off as a guy that was super sincere and was trying to come to a logical conclusion. Not at all like an extortionist they were making him out to be.

In a nutshell, that’s what spurred the blackouts.

“Let the people decide” is always the best move.
