Another week, another round of tech layoffs (59k layoffs in 23')…. it still continues to be a shitshow out there but I want to give you a silver lining:

There’s a reason that we aren't hearing about massive blue collar layoffs!

We got data scientist in the Trench, crunchin numbers and here is their report… each and every working hand is valued more than ever in this country. There is a project backlog larger than ever and the only thing the calculator doesnt know...who's going to built it.

If you ever thought about getting into a higher paying gig, I am here to tell ya:

I'm not joking, this guy oozes passion, each sentence is shot out of canon and ends with a smirk and a head nod that invites you to know more. He spoke with such high regard for what he does and I got the sense that this trade is what gets him out of bed in the morning.

I mean seriously, he had me looking in the mirror and asking myself "Do you even work Bro?"

I'm still trying to answer that question...
